To send her to a necropsy now.

Hilarious story - wild guess - CCL? after all.. its a LegBAR...? Any other sexible at hatch eggs in there?
It does kinda look like day old pictures of a CCL and I do have a couple in there not schedule to hatch for a couple of days. Are the big chicks? Does this make it a female because of the white dot? I would seriously be jumping up and down if it was....I didn't expect them to hatch. I wanted to avoid disappointment. Which breeds are sexible aside from the sexlinked blacks, which I do have.

It looks more like a rhodebar to me. Legbars are not reddish when hatched. Can't you find the shell it hatched from?

And the white dot would mean rooster.

I will be able to find the shell. I needed to get the incubator closed up quickly because I had other unexpected pips happening so I did not take the time to look and risk shrink wrapping them. I did also have a couple of Rhodebars in there. Are they big chicks?

That was what I was just going to say.... find the shell

They can be big chicks. Depends on the size of the egg they hatched from.

Female chicks shouldn't have a head spot. They should be chipmunk patterned from tip of head down.

Some female chicks do have head spots but they are smaller spots and the chick would still have dark coloring/ dark eye stripes. Since it is not desirable to have a female hatch with head spots she should not breed it.
