My chicks from Reese are 15 minutes away from being late and past the express guarentee....and I don't even show them scanned into MN yet.......nail-biting ensuing.....

The spot on top of his head is small, but there looks like another spot on it's neck. I have gotten two males that were really dark like that and one was culled for a cross beak. The second one I marked so I could watch as he grew. He died this winter at about 8 weeks old, but he was still very dark. I had to look closely to distinguish him from the Barred Rocks that were the same age.

Just had a thought- maybe it's not a Cream Legbar?? Could we be seeing maybe Silver Legbar popping up?

I stuck a couple extra silkie chicks in the box for you just in case of casualties.
 
Ok, so my gaurentteed today at 12:00 expressed shipped for a billion dollars chicks left Ohio on a plane at 9:30 and missed the Express pick up to my PO this morning. They are saying that they can't get them until the morning because the airport is like a "plant" and no one is there. I don't believe that for a minute! If they are stuck at the airport until tomorrow morning, I am worried they won't make it. Any suggestions? I am sure some of you have encountered this before. I know if I found the right person we can get this squared away.

ETA: I know a courier CAN deliver them directly from the airport. It's just impressing upon the correct person that this absolutely NEEDS to happen!

See if they will let you pick them up at the airport. Not sure how far you are from there. But they should let you. There is always someone there.
