I will not buy eggs again from Texas. I have had the worst hatch rates coming from there. I have purchased dozens of eggs from sellers down there and only have had a few chicks hatch. I am also about to stop purchasing from Florida, no luck there either. Well, except for Krafty's Ameraucana's, they are crazy fertile!I agree. Something is going on. I know I've had some say my CCL eggs I've sent either were clear or didn't hatch. Definitely not the eggs. I put 19 in 2.5 weeks ago and I pulled one for blood ring. The rest are growing nicely. I can't get eggs from Texas. I've never had any hatch from that state. Ever.
Quote: North FL has a bad rep for how they handle packages............. thos eof us who get to hub out of Orlando have much better luck (usually)
If I remember correctly, January and later was always a terrible time to get shipped eggs. It's been about three years since I've dealt with shipped eggs over winter, but for some reason, after Janish it just sucks. *sigh* I should go through my notes from years ago and see when the crap ends.
How are your calls doing.![]()
