I wanted to make sure I had enough to pick and choose my stock. When they grow out I will be selling off the ones that don't make the cut.

I have eggs that I sent out on Saturday to chickenbelle in Louisiana. According to tracking they haven't left Wisconsin. I sent eggs last week to Mstrz and sstreling, both also in LA. They got them pretty quick and tracking was updated the whole way. Some consistency would be nice.

I sent eggs to someone else in LA. She got them quickly, but the eggs she sent back to me took forever.

They sat in a sort facility for five days before meandering their way up to me.

The PO here knows me pretty well and joke that I'm on speed dial, but my carrier is not very good. She puts packages in really odd spots. She once put a package on top of my garbage can at the curb on pickup day. $280 ski suit lost and I'm out the money.

That's why I pick mine up at the PO.

Hubby bought the wood for my chicken coops and has the plans drawn up for my coops. I think it is actually gonna get done this year.

I will have all new coops for my rare breed birds.

And My NPIP lady is coming out next week to recertify me for the year. So I will be good to go. Going to a local swap meet in Medina at TSC Saturday to sell some birds & chicks. A couple locals are also going to sell from here. So I get to meet more BYC'ers.

I agree. Something is going on. I know I've had some say my CCL eggs I've sent either were clear or didn't hatch. Definitely not the eggs. I put 19 in 2.5 weeks ago and I pulled one for blood ring. The rest are growing nicely. I can't get eggs from Texas. I've never had any hatch from that state. Ever.

I will not buy eggs again from Texas. I have had the worst hatch rates coming from there. I have purchased dozens of eggs from sellers down there and only have had a few chicks hatch. I am also about to stop purchasing from Florida, no luck there either. Well, except for Krafty's Ameraucana's, they are crazy fertile!

If I remember correctly, January and later was always a terrible time to get shipped eggs. It's been about three years since I've dealt with shipped eggs over winter, but for some reason, after Janish it just sucks. *sigh* I should go through my notes from years ago and see when the crap ends.

I had 4, but lost two shortly after start of development. :/ Is there any way I could switch a claim to more calls? Lol.
