I have been seriously stressed about what I am going to do about a car. I definitely couldn't afford the 7k to fix it.

That's the best news I've heard all day and it doesn't even involve me!!!

But turks are way sweeter! I bought some a few times with the intention of dinner... now I don't even eat turkey, because I just couldn't kill them, lol.

I'd order one in. The LG's are a special breed. My first one sucked. Found out that if you ignore the whole "you have to keep still airs at 101F" that they actually work quite nicely. Keep them like any other bator, at 99.5F, and you shouldn't have a problem.

Anyone wanna sell or side swap me a used one? Lol. I have kippered wild Alaskan salmon and jam. Lol.

Hello Everyone! haven't been on in awhile - busy with taxes, chores and the new puppy of course. Have 5 new baby chickies that are going to be moved outside if spring EVER comes. With their mama hen, and she needs to get outside. Supposed to snow and sleet tonight - augh!!! Hoping to get some turkeys this weekend... I need the weather to get better so Hubby and build me a new coop!

well, it's official, vitamins,sugar water and heat on shipped chicks with one dang near dead, works! It's a miracle, but all of the ones that weren't DOA, are running around the brooder eating and drinking, and chirping! I am so happy! Probably not totally out of the woods yet, but I am way more optimistic about their survival than I was this morning...
