Took me 10 minutes to order a pack of China markers... How pathetic am I? First I was looking for the cheapest dozen, then I couldn't decide if I wanted blue or black (they were the cheapest), but I wanted white too (how cool is white?!) but that was only in an assortment (besides, I need something other than white for my white eggs). I ended up going with just the assortment. Sheesh.

[/quoinked you can fit eggs into are 12$ to ship anyway. What's that a gain of 4$ maybe if you don't include the gas it takes to drive to the post office.

Quoinked? Sounds like a comic strip adjective! As for $4 per shipment, that REALLY adds up. Certainly saves me over $400 a year, probably much more.

What are China markers?

COF called them grease pencils. I think they have some other names too, something crayon. They're the crazy pencils that have a soft "lead" and when you wear it down, you have to pull the string back a notch and then unwravel the paper section... Clear as mud?

I love Lionheads! Too small and adorable to be in my meat rabbit pen, though.

buff orps were actually the first chickens I ever had. The somehow I think I found BYC.... hmmm I get it now. It is all of your faults that I am the crazy chicken lady!!

Thanks! I was wondering too. I've been using a sharpie on my own eggs. Oops! I need to figure out a mark now....
