I did a thorough candle tonight trying to make room for some eggs that Bhep sent home with me the other day(darn enabler! lol). I had set some of my random ones and then had all the bantams from gamebirdsonly. To say I was shocked would be an understatement. I will be getting eggs from them again!!! ALL are developing strong. Day 4 in the bator and are FILLED with veins. Can't believe that on shipped eggs!!! YAY

I love this thread and I hope it comes back! It can/has gotten caddy but it is always easier to just say aka type nothing than add fuel to the fire. I do however want to add in my two cents regarding PayPal. I am one that can only offer PayPal as I have no hatching eggs. If you go buy hatching eggs off this site or others you will pay shipping which helps the shipper cover the transaction cost for PayPal. With the swap you are not only getting awesome eggs at a super price you also do not have additional shipping costs. I am more than willing to pay the transaction cost.

mwahah, I got swedish flower hens! I cheated by getting there early!

But, IMO, on things like the paypal chat, disagreeing respectfully isn't an issue. we have been debating it here and offering opinions, and I like that. You learn more when you discuss with people who see things differently then when you discuss wiht people who see things the same.

I just think we need to check that its not on the TOS for paypal like it is a credit card. I don't KNOW that it is, and I do it as a gift now that I figured it out ( Ok, DH figured it out and he dosen't let me touch pp anymore ) I just know cc got nasty about it. Mind you they let the IRS change a fee......

We could be the international reserve search (for) chickens fund! IRSc!

May I make a request to Crazychickenlady for the rules? But, more a suggestion. Could we ask that the offers be a little bit more spelled out - color, large fowl/bantam, that sort of thing? I keep hesitating, trying to do research on member's pages to figure out what they have...LOL. I do think that the Mines might come faster as a rule if people know more, but I'm new at this and very well could be wrong!

that the thread is back up again. In the first offer post, CPL asked everyone to please review the rules before starting. If you haven't done so already, that might be a good idea. The rules are put in place so that we can keep order and not have the thread shut down again. None of them are personal, and none are arbitrary. They are there for a reason. New ones will be added when necessary.

I know the 3 month member rule may be hard to swallow for the new people, but for those of us that have been swapping for awhile, we have seen many swappers come and go, some without fulfilling their obligations to send what they promised. The 3 month rule does not guarantee that everything will be sent, but if a member has been around that long, then this is probably more than just a passing fancy to them.

Please don't hold it against CPL for putting rules in place - they are there to protect ALL the swappers. And please don't get upset when someone points out that a rule may have been violated. Again, those people, like me, are just trying to head off arguments that may get the thread shut down again. It is NOT personal, and I don't think CPL always has to be the bad guy here. It is in ALL our best interests to avoid arguments and play nice. Please be respectful of each other and we will all benefit.

Also, don't argue. Flag the questionable post, and MOVE ON. Per BYC, do not argue or be rude/name call/etc. Don't reply, don't try to help, don't comment.
