Darn....I am still looking. I am going to try to get some. From what I understand you might get some combining Blue Mottled and Blue Mille Fleur or is it Blue Mille Fleur over a Mille, I don't know but they are all going in the same pen.

Yeah, I'm pretty realistic about how they will turn out wrt the breed standard, but I'm ok with it, I just love D'Uccles

I do too. I had hatchery porcelain and sold all but one, and I don't breed her all her chicks had long necks, she is a good brooder, and I hope to use her to raise up quail next time she goes broody, which I hope happens twice next year.

So, we just got back from a poultry show/swap in Frederick. Some nice birds, some not so nice birds. I'm thinking about getting a trio of Seramas. Those little birds are adorable. I was wondering what you Serama breeders can tell me about them. Since they are small birds, what kind of housing for cold weather and for warm weather? What special care do they need? Any info would be great!

Dang, I shoulda put more money in the bank yesterday! Who knew kraftyladies had lemon cuckoo orps??? Ah well, I'll get a ride in on Monday and can play more then (I'm carless at the moment which is why getting to the bank is a pain) I can't believe I spent a hundred bucks on chickens last week!!!
