Balbinka - you've got some adorable babies there - MANY CONGRATULATIONS
.
All these gorgeous baby goslings and still Im waiting
Now on day 29 for our Dewlaps. Came home from work last night to find shadowing in the air cell but no internal pipping
Took the eggs out for cooling and found both had externally pipped in the small end of the egg
Both now in lockdown with 70% humidity and were ok when I left for work this morning. I've moistened around the external pip and removed a little dry membrane to give them a clear breathing hole of approx 3mm. Lots of peeping this morning. Oh it just had to me that got the breech goslings
I'll be updating my Dewlap Diary thread tonight with more pictures.
Its weird that its happened..the teacher getting his students thru the test then it throws a curve ball to the teacher and now the students have to watch and learn all over again so they will know what to do whenever it happens to them.
Day 15 for me last night so only halfway there! Everything looked good though. I am getting concerned about having a lone gosling though, the ducks aren't due to hatch until 8 days after the goose.
Everyones little ones are adorable - congrats to all. Fingers crossed for you Pete.

I thought all of yours were duds. darn I must of missed a post or something. Well just think of it this way. If you get a white Sebbie to hatch then go and get a grey goose and breed your own coloured sebbies for next year!! Sounds like a plan to me.
Reading these hatching posts daily: I've got three (of four original) Pilgrim eggs in the incubator. I believe I'm heading into Day 30. First time hatcher (of anything, there's also 17 duck eggs in there with a "due date" of the 26th).
Now and then the eggs would wiggle a bit on their own. I stopped turning them three days ago. Air cells range from huge to pretty big and when I shine a flashlight through the aircell, can seem some moving shadows near the 'bottom' of the cell. Still incubating dry while I wait for an external or even internal pip but other than wiggling/shadows, nothing yet.
