Have you ever gotten teased about your chickens?

My DH calls me the "Crazy Chicken Lady"!

MY 8 year old DD got teased but she put them in there place by saying, "When this economy gets any worse don't come looking to me for eggs!"

I howled when I heard that! I was very proud of her!

Being self sufficient to any degree is something to be proud of!

During a church social my sunday school teacher(who is also a vet) had to get it started that "Beth has a chicken that lays green eggs" Let me tell you...that comment went off in so many directions, LOL.

Yep, just yesterday one of my friend's son's said I was becoming "a old, creepy, bird lady" after telling them about the goose eggs in the bator and more coming later in the season.

Creepy and bird lady I can deal with but OLD??, OLD????, I'm only 36!
