First of all Rufus I love how you think!!!!!
As far as them being brother and sister I was on the floor laughing when I read that. Everyone who knows them thinks that could possibly be true. All three of their boys are not all there, if you know what I mean. Now I am not being cruel just honest! But in their defense they do not go to school she claims to home school them! What she really does is farm them out to anyone who will pay them to do some work. Yes we have called DHS numerous times, thye have even came out and seen the floor of their home covered in goat feces because they let the goats live in the house. You can't tell that they have carpet because it is like ceramic tile. But when you live in a state that will let children die at the hands of their parents for the sake of "keeping them in the home" you can't really expect results.
As far as me shooting two of their dogs. Yes I did do that and it was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. But that was the third time they came down and killed chickens. The first time I tried nicely to ask them to keep them put up, the second time I warned them if it happened again I would shoot them, by the third time I was down 12 hens and 2 roosters. I am an animal lover! and it absolutely killed me to do it but by the third time of witnessing them shredding my beloved birds I could take no more. If I go out on the porch and try to run them off, they come at me, growling! These dogs are the result of inbreeding and starvation and they are very large dogs. They could take me down in a split second. So please don't judge me for shooting their dogs. I was only trying to protect my birds and myself. I also have miniature doxies that they have tried to get through my gate. I now have to keep my beloved blue heeler penned up, because they have siad they will shoot him if they get the chance, just out of spite. He guards my chickens, horses and little dogs with his life. He never gets in the trash(because he is very well fed and knows trash is "nasty"). Before I had to pen him up he would keep the chickens from roaming to far with his excellent herding abilities.
Sorry so long I just don't want anyone to get the wrong idea about me. I do love animals! All kinds, including the 13 dogs we rescued from starvation after the owners abandoned them. I am the house in the country where people try to dump animals because they know they will be cared for.
As for Michael and Sonny they still have not come home. I am still hopeful but I am absolutely exhausted. Talked to my doctor this morning and he said at the rate I am going I will back in the hospital in no time. I have to go see him next Friday so we will see. I just hope the boys are back by then so if I do go I won't be worrying about that. But hey on the good side....a least I can get in one more auction before then!!!!LOL
