*Heat Of Battle*A Warrior Cat Role Play

Ravenstar slowly turned around to leave.The apprentice had collasped, screeching she landed in her leg, but sat whimpering, staring at nothing.Ravenstar wanted to help her, but knew she might hurt her even more.She padded out of the den, Firefrost was already out.

Morningpaw collasped, and screeched in pain.The death shocked her more then anything.She clambered out of her nest, ignoring the stabbing pain in her shoulder and ran out of the den.So many scents and shapes she couldn't make out engulfed her, but she could just make out a pale golden shape sprawled out.She staggered towards her, and tripped, landing right beside her.She dug her face into the stiff cold body, sobbing.

Flamefang nuzzled his daughter, "It's alright, Morningpaw." he murmured.

Morningpaw didn't move,"No it's not."She hissed.She scrambled to her paw, narrowing her eyes for best sight,"NO IT'S NOT SHE'S DEAD!HOW CAN YOU TELL ME IT'S ALRIGHT WHEN SHE'S DEAD?!"She yowled."IT WILL NEVER BE ALRIGHT!THORNCLAN HAS KILLED HER! DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND!?"She wobbled, and dug her claws into the ground.

Firefrost darted forward, and spoke softly to her,"Morningpaw you have to calm down, I know your mad, I know your upset, I know your in pain.But if you keep yowling, it's going to make it hurt even worse,"She murmured.

Nettlewater skidded out of the den and stopped."Morningpaw!"

Morningpaw hissed, staggering backwards.She tripped over Larkpaw's tail,and fell, but staggered back to her paws."You don't understand!No cat understands!"She yowled.Lifting her sore paw in the air, she ran ran oddly, and almost crashed into the Nursery, before taking off and hiding in the ferns.

Firefrost looked at Flamefang, Her eyes glowing with worry,"What's wrong with her!?"

Ravenstar padded forward,"Shes mad and upset, Larkpaw is dead, and she says she can hardly see, She doesn't understand what she's saying, Firefrost.She doesn't mean anything she says, I promise,"

Lilypaw, Stormpaw, and Breezepaw did as well, the two small she-cats were pressed together, and Stormpaw was looking at paws.

Sunsplash, Willowfern, Silvergleam and Beewing each pressed their muzzle against Larkpaw's small body in goodbye, then stepped back.

Waterfrost stepped forward and licked her granddaughter's head a last time and padded back to sit next to Goldentail.

Fawnpaw and Doepaw pressed against Smokesong.

Leaftalon licked her ear.
