"I'm actually not shocked at all, this isn't a big camp." Rainspark murmured, "And I understand how she feels, Goldentail, don't worry. But she doesn't truly deserve to be a warrior. One battle doesn't prove if she does. She had too much left to learn."
Goldentail sat back on her haunches."Wow, Rainspark."She remarked."Im suprised to hear you speak so simply about Ravenstar's decision."She flicked her ear."Morningflame is a smart cat, she'll learn in time. Thunderstrike, Russetsplash and Longstripe where ready, Was it fair to leave Morningflame out?"
"Was it fair to leave Meadowpaw and Tigerpaw out because they didn't make it to the battle in time?" Rainspark asked wryly, "Morningflame is not the most respectful to those who are superior to her and she is not quick to listen and try to understand a differing opinion."
"We all know Ravenstar knows something we don't."Goldentail meowed, glancing at the SheCat, who was explaining something to Lilypaw."Then I suppose she isn't much diffrent from her mother, stubborn, quick to snap."The SheCat sighed, flicking her tail."Your a smart cat, Rainspark. I agree with you, Morningflame isn't ready. But, StarClan decides all of our fate, and they decided Morningflame is to be a warrior. She'll learn in time, She will make mistakes, but she'll learn."
"And this is where you differ." Rainspark smiled, "You're patient and you listen. I can only hope that Morningflame will come to be like that."
Goldentail snorted, smiling."I've lived a long time, Young one. I've learned patience is better then impulsiveness. And all these cats will."She mewed. She watched as Firefrost bounded into camp, her fur spiked."Rainspark! ThornClan raid patrol! Maplestar and a lot of cats, like, a lot."She gulped."Including Tigerpaw."Goldentail jumped to her paws,,glancing at Rainspark.
"I suppose it's a good thing that Meadowpaw left camp." Rainspark meowed, bounding across camp to Firefrost.
Firefrost opened her mouth, but a cat burst into camp. She jumped. Maplestar was snarling, and aimed a swipe at the shecats flank."Get out of my way, Kittypet."She snarled, Tigerstrike close behind her. She stalked up to Rainspark, her teeth bared."Where is the kit?"She snarled.
"What kit?" Rainspark hissed, "There are two kits in DawnClan, neither of which you should know about."
"Cherrykit and Applekit, I suppose?"Maplestar purred."No, His sister. The good one, not the useless blind one."She growled, flicking her tail at Tigerstrike.
