Rainspark looked at Ravenstar.

Feathercloud lifted her head and sat up in her nest.

Leopardspot was still sleeping.

Ashpaw shifted his paws uncomfortably.


"Dawnpelt's over there too. And Dovepaw and Patchpaw. They're experienced apprentices." she mewed. "Can someone go fetch Leaftalon?" she asked.

Smokesong woke up from her dream. "Oh Feathercloud...." she whispered. "I had a dream from when we were kits... Amberpool was there!"

Amberpool decided that she'd had enough. She scrambled out of the Twolegs arms and ran to the food dish. She quickly gulped some down and spat them out. "PAH!" she spat.

"They're in the sandy hollow. That's where we're training too." Feathermist replied.

"What is it, Willowpaw?" Leaftalon asked wearily.

She spun around and saw a white cat with strange colours on her fur in the windowsill that was open. "Cutters?" Amberpool mewed in bewilderment. "Who are you?" she asked. "I am Princess Fluffy Pants." the cat said proudly. "You don't know what the Cutters is?" she sniffed. "Well you'll find out soon enough.
