Heating pad for weak duckling?

Oh no no, it was living just one day without the bulb and I was about to get it replaced on the day the bulb broke but it was too late..

Oh, okay, phew! Even so...I'm so sorry that it didn't make it. :/ I'm so paranoid about this upcoming hatch, I have two bators, three bulbs and three each of thermometers and hygrometers...are you gonna try again, too? <3

Call ducks. So I've got a looooong struggle coming up. x_x;;

Also, I love Chinese geese, they're SO pretty! I've always wanted a bar-headed goose too, but they're a wild species so I don't know if anyone breeds them domestically or not. I know you can find Canadian goose breeders, so I'm optimistic!

Hehe, and ironically, the African pygmy goose is actually a duck!

I'll be happy to take lots of photos, provided any of the eggs hatch. I still have several more days to go until I'll even know if any of them are developing at all, and even then, they're shipped eggs so they may not make it to hatch. Ugh, the waiting really is the hardest part!

Well with a good candler you can tell as early as 4 days of incubation.

I'm not going to risk it. I don't dare open the bator until day 6 or 7, when I'll lay them down on their sides.
