Oh no no, it was living just one day without the bulb and I was about to get it replaced on the day the bulb broke but it was too late..

Oh, okay, phew! Even so...I'm so sorry that it didn't make it. :/ I'm so paranoid about this upcoming hatch, I have two bators, three bulbs and three each of thermometers and hygrometers...are you gonna try again, too? <3

Oh of course! Haha trying to find some good duck breeds and maybe 1 or 2 chinese goose eggs with it! What are you hatching? Good luck!

Call ducks. So I've got a looooong struggle coming up. x_x;;

Also, I love Chinese geese, they're SO pretty! I've always wanted a bar-headed goose too, but they're a wild species so I don't know if anyone breeds them domestically or not. I know you can find Canadian goose breeders, so I'm optimistic!

I always thought that bar headed goose looked like a duck. Good luck with your hatch, make sure to send me pictures! I love seeing baby duckys

Hehe, and ironically, the African pygmy goose is actually a duck!

I'll be happy to take lots of photos, provided any of the eggs hatch. I still have several more days to go until I'll even know if any of them are developing at all, and even then, they're shipped eggs so they may not make it to hatch. Ugh, the waiting really is the hardest part!

Fingers crossed! Hoping for a good hatch.

Well with a good candler you can tell as early as 4 days of incubation.
