Hello from Australia! I have eggs and not much idea what to do!

Congratulations on the new ducklings, they are extremely cute. Hope the other eggs hatch out fine.

I have three little fluffies in the brooder and as for egg number four: after four hours with just his beak hanging out of his shell i got too worried and had to help break him open. I left him push his own way out though. he sure is the funny one - laying on his back kicking his little legs in the air! He is now sitting in the casserole dish on his lonesome but peeping madly to his siblings!

When he is all fluffed up and joins his buddies in the brooder I'll update with another pic.

Thanks for all your support!

we had a duck hashed by one of our chickens,it took forever, but he is fine and very big"thinks he is a chicken"he has 2 sister and a brother that are chickens .They all stay together. They are 6 mos old now.He dose not like the ducks lol

I have put the last duckling, Beaker into the brooder box. She seems so much smaller than the other ducklings, poor lil baby. The other three keep kicking her out of their posse under the lamp, so every five minutes I have to reach in and put her back. I hope she becomes a part of the group, she was the last to make noises in the egg, last to pip, had terrible trouble getting out of her shell and she is so little!

Anyhoo - here is the latest pic of my little babies. I am super happy and want to take great care of them. Is there anything I SHOULDN'T feed them? Can i feed them spinach and rocket leaves?

They are absolutely adorable

Congratulations! For feeding tips etc, I'm going to refer you to the ducks section, again. We have some very experienced duck owners there, including Amiga and Miss Lydia who you've already "met" on this thread. They will only be too happy to answer your questions. In the meantime, here is some reading for you:
