Hello

Chickens are so fun to watch. I'm glad you have feathered friend now LOL What breed is it?
I'm sorry to hear that your chicken had a heart attack.
Well I ws chasing him with a rake.. lol he was being mean then made me chase him through the busheswhen i got him cornered he just croaked. I felt real bad and confused. learn a lesson though..

Only -15!!!! And I think it's bad here in South Texas at 27°F with freezing rain, sleet and temps tonight in the low 20's. That would be a heatwave for you! :lau

Hi, I was given 11 Silkie eggs and bought an incubator after a promised clocker didn’t materialise.
They hatched in my kitchen on the 28th June last year. Still waiting for my first egg.
7 hatched out of 11. Two hens and five (!!!) cockerels, so I gave four of them back to the ‘egg donor’ last week, and now I have my trio
I love my dogs, love sewing and baking....really sad, I know!
This forum is really helping me.
Next project? A new coop! I have coop envy after seeing others on here. ALSO.....it’s just started to snow! I have to rethink their accommodation :thumbsup
