HELP!!! 3 week chick foot swollen

OP states she received them feb. 28 th and just seen this thursday. Would frost bit take that long for symptoms ?

Good point Granny—I had not read the date. This has probably happened after they were at home. It looks fairly recent, within the last week or less. It could be that the chick had started showing curled toes after the frostbite had occurred.

Here is a great recent thread with pictures of frostbitten feet where one foot was eventually lost, and the chicken did not lose the other foot except for a few toes:

are the feet hard soft squishy?

The swollen areas are like blisters. They are squishy

No. I am sure that it is frostbite, unfortunately.

Would they have gotten Frostbite after 2 weeks with me???
