Help! Air cell’s too small but duckling’s still Alive trying to pip!

I did - but there was goo was getting all over and it wasn’t moving at all (moved the shell as much as I could) and there was veins everywhere I’ll attach a photo:

no I broke it - found the head too tucked under the wing

With the other egg it’s been 18 hours and no progress in terms of it unzipping, I’m not sure if I should leave it be or help it?

I'm sorry. I've heard they are really hard to hatch. Do whatever WVduck tells you to do!

They really are - everywhere I was looking it kept saying they need assistance hatching especially when unzipping because of their small beak and big heads and if it’s been 12-18 hours since the pip. I saw what I think might be bruising on a different area so the duckling has probably been trying to get out - I’m not sure if me intervening is going to cause problems, I hope Wvduck comes back quickly!!

An update! The other egg that was put in three days later has externally pipped! But their sibling egg also died, it’s so weird how this is all playing out. Now the issue is does that mean the first egg that was there earlier is falling behind?
