Help!!! Angel is getting worse.

You mentioned that you got some low grade pine shavings when this started.

Pine and cedar are not recommended. If anything use hardwood shavings or better yet, buy a bail of good clean bedding straw.
Keep her bedding CLEAN. She may be getting re-infected by the bedding spreading the infection.

Hopefully it is not contagious, but I would quarantine her away (but in sight) of the others until you can figure this out.

Took this picture of Angel's back and oil gland area. She is still wet as she just got done soaking. The feathers are sparse in this area. I can't tell if this is fungus or what.

It could be that all the soaks she is having is having an effect on the condition of her feathers ??? - either way- getting her to a vet tomorrow so you can get her onto the correct treatment will be the best thing for her.

The vet called me and I went to her house and picked up some Septra. Now I have to figure out how much to giver her. It is 1 ml per 10 pounds. I imagine healthy she weighs about 3 lbs. I'm thinking around 2 lbs. So around 1/4 ml or a little less seems to be about right. The vet will be in Tuesday, so I will still take her in on Tuesday, but at least this way we can get started on the mending.

I sure appreciate all the help and suggestions everyone is offering. I would not have known where to start without you. She is such a sweet little duck. I kicked the dog out of my bedroom last night and put her tub right next to my bed. She was sound asleep when I woke up this morning.

i just lost one of my (very expensive) americanna pullets today to the stupid dog!! i had to bury the 2 rabbits i lost (old age i assume) and the dog got into the cage. she was playing with it in the yard, throwing it in the air like a toy!! i could have killed her!!

but i have chickies hatching next monday so that eases the irritation a bit.
