Help!! Are my ducks shrink wrapped??

Okay so I'm kinda worried I have some muscovy eggs that have been incubating for way longer than expected..

After giving up I pulled an egg out to candle it and it had externally piped! Do I need to take him back out and help him? What about they others that may have pipped as well?

How long has it been since they pipped?

edit- I've heard that muscovy ducks can take 35 days to hatch, but maybe you already knew that. Just thought I'd make sure.

34 days.. I've heard they could go all to way to 37 but idk.

I have to believe within the last 6-8 hours.

I did bump the humidity up to 80 just incase this happend to try and prevent shrink-wrap.. I was quick opening it but I had him out for maybe 2 minutes candilng.

Can't see any others that have pipped I'm gonna resume lockdown n pray I guess

Definitely wait to help if it's only been 6-8 hours, if it reaches 30 hours I think that's when you're supposed to help them, 40 hours and they'll definitely need help. But for now it would be way to early to try to help them, but I understand why you'd be worried. Muscovies take a few more days than other ducks to start hatching though, so it should be fine if they're only on day 34. Good luck with your hatch!

It was the first time I've ever seen a bird that fully developed in an egg! It was like looking at a ultrasound haha. And I'm going to come clean now they're actually wood duck eggs.. I didn't know how ppl up here would fell about something like that. They take same time as miscovys why I called em that aha.

I do have a liscnse to hatch n release game birds, I raise quail also so this wasn't a random thing or nothing. But good, everything I've seen they get shrink wrapped they're done for ill give him some time.
