The little ones are really hard, lol! I don't know if this makes sense, but I cut off the end of the small tubes so that the only hole is at the bottom, not on the sides, them I melt the end with a lighter to make it smooth. I can take a picture of it if you want................................snip........................................
I've been gavaging a three day old silkie with a #6 and that's been a nightmarish thing to do. I'm going to try Kathy's crop needle method next time.
Sorry for your loss... I'll get you some pictures of my different tubes and what I use them for - My latest favorite is a size 30 french, that is big enough that wet crumbles will flow through it, lol. Please feel free to use any of my pictures.That's a really good idea. I was thinking of cutting off the end because its the applicator at the end that's just so big compared to the tube. I had to put the little one down anyway, it was having neurological issues that went beyond any mushy chick-ness. But would love to see a pic if you get a chance. Would you mind if i add some of your pics to my tutorial?
