My chick was fine this morning but in one hour he suddenly started feeling sick, he's panting, he can walk but he feels like his legs are tired, kinda looks dizzy! No idea what's wrong with him! I gave him some sugary water
I have a light lamp, and it's really hot here around 37 degreesusually chicks do fine in the brooder
can't tell the exact temperature tho
Room temperature is way lower than the outside temperature unless we live in a tent lolbut I tried closing the lamp and he started closing his eyes so I opened it back also I noticed their legs aren't hot they're relatively cold
I read that if they're hot their legs should be warme and more panting
he isn't panting tho but he keeps tripping and isn't active
Where are you located in the world?Minced eggswe don't have any store that sells starter feeding around
Yes he's doing much better nowTry putting apple cider vinegar in the water and save-a-chick vitamins if possible. Is he eating/drinking fine?
Egypt and no vitaminesWhere are you located in the world?
Do you have access to any poultry vitamins?
Please post some photos of the poop?
How old is this chick?
I would doubt this has anything to do with it. The chicks frequently have feed in the water from eating.so the water sometimes has sand in it, I make sure to change it but sometimes it stays that way for a whilecan this be the reason?
That's a picture of itWhere are you located in the world?

Egypt and no vitaminesonly iron based ones and I read those are harmful for chickens in general but I couldn't find any non iron products, don't think I can take a picture of his poop just checked and they're all dried up or covered in sand and such and he's a week old

Ye I always give them minced eggs and it's produced daily by the hens so it's as organic as we can make itIts OK that you don't have vitamins and don't have access to them!
The fix for this is feeding them yolk and egg from another fresh chicken egg! It has most of what they need and is the same as a vitamin without having to buy anything!
