Help Day 17

    I've had a broody silkie sitting on this egg and just moved her and egg inside in brooder. I've candled previously and looked fine, today it looks like the attached pictures. I can't tell if it's viable or not. The air cell seems to move around a great deal. Does this look like it will hatch? [​IMG]

    If those pictures are accurate, it looks like the air cell is taking up half the egg, which is not good, and I don't see any veining, another bad sign. Unfortunately it does look like it has quit :( If you want you can leave it under her to see if it does anything but I wouldn't count on it hatching.
