The dosage is just for fish tanks. Not sure how that applies to ducks.
I did some googling and found dosage for infants. For fevers, the recommended dosage is 250mg every 12 hrs for infants and toddlers. i we average their weight to 10ish pounds, then that would mean 25mg per pound for treating fevers. For general bacterial infections, the dosage is 25mg every 6 hrs for a toddler infant . That would be 2.5mg per lb. So my ducks should get 11mg and 13mg every 6 hrs for general infections. If it's a fever, then they should get 110 and 130mg only once every 12 hr.

Does this seem right?? Totally spitballing here.

Things are not looking well for Carmella. She is producing a lot of mucus from the mouth, and she feels very hot to the touch. She is visibly in a lot of pain, lethargic, and unable to eat and drink on her own. She is unable to rest, I think she is in too much pain. She is producing tears pretty regularly.

Please be praying. Any advice or kind word is always appreciated.

I found the dosing info:

Can you give it to her orally?

I cannot think of the word for it but do you have one of those things that a needle attaches to to inject medication? It might be time to dissolve a tablet and force it down her. I really feel sorry for your duck and you.
This medication is powder and comes in packs that are 500 mg.
