That depends on you.....some folks will not help b/c they say the chick may be a 'weakling'. Personally I would help - if it is deformed or in a bad way you can cull, but if it lives that is a blessing.
You should be prepared to give it intensive assistance for a couple of weeks at least, just so you are aware - god luck

Thanks. I had to go to work and by the time I got home the chick had successfully hatched.
