HELP....EMERGENCY!!!!!!!

And sad to report...the remaining 3 didn't make it. 2 looked super tiny and underdeveloped...1 even looked deformed in the face. The 3rd one was as big as my survivor, but it was upsidedown in the egg and looked to me as if it drowned.

Sorry about the others :( as for your hatched one, be careful that the moist towel doesn't get cold and chill the chick. And when I said dry out, I was just referring to how the chicks fluff up awhile after they've hatched in the incubator. Just make sure it stays nice and warm. Hopefully it'll snap out of it by morning.

Okay, now a NEW problem...red bulge from its bottom area. Ugh..always something, i tell ya! I can't tell if its from the butt, vent or naval...still in the incubator and can't get a good look. But its protruding outwards, looks as if it should be on the inside. I didn't notice it before til now because its laying on its side. Still peeping though and moving around, still hasn't gotten on its feet though. Any idea what this is? Please tell me its not intestines????

I had one of my silkies do this, it looked like a red bubble coming out of his butt, I just left it a lone and sure enough it dried up and went away, the chick is a full grown rooster today..

AWWEEE so sorry for you lost.... It's horrible when things like that happens..

I don't know if you said that was all the eggs you had but if he is the only one, he may chirp a lot. Chicks don't like to be alone, so what has worked for me in the past is a stuffed animal and some soft music. My chicks would cuddle up under the wing of my stuffed bird as if it was with his mommy. It was the cutest thing ever... but it did shut him up. LOL.. He would chirp all the time by himself, thank god for Stuff Birds..
