She's 4 or 5 here's a photo of her. Yeah not overnight she had been laying in her box thought she was going to hatch chicks had no idea this was going onwhen did you notice this, i dont think that this could just happen over night, how old is she, and what breed. can you get a full body photo from all angles?
I think you're taking the right step. You may need to use a finger to feel around in there for an egg. I'm wondering if she is egg bound because it doesn't seem like it is a prolapse yet....
