Hey everyone, long story short, I know these treats needed to be put away, I’ve owned animals for years, and my feed is all under lock and key to avoid these things, but I’m human and I make mistakes. Basically, I just washed my horses legs so I threw her in a stall to dry while I went to dump a wheelbarrow of manure in the pile, which is a decent walk. I currently have a duck in a large crate outside the stall and I accident left the bag of chicken treats on top of it. My horse got to it and ate probably half of it. It’s only a 2.25 lb bag. For now I gave her extra hay, do you think this could upset her stomach or make her colic?

If your mare ate only about 1# of the treats I wouldn't be overly concerned, unless she's prone to colic at the drop of a hat. Ingredients on the bag don't look to be a problem but send a pic of the label to your equine vet for input. You might reduce her evening feed by that 1#. BTW, I love the Manna Pro products for horses!
