Help I’m not sure if my chick is a rooster or a hen.

Another update, his feathers are so cool looking, he’s getting oranger around his neck area. He always has his neck feathers puffed up thinking he’s a total badass lol. I added a picture of how orange his feathers underneath are getting, will he be really orange tinted when he gets older? Or will time tell?

I know he’s a cockerel but now it’s been 101% confirmed. I went to get my flock fresh food and water a couple mornings ago and I heard a little crow, now he’s crowing non-stop lol.

Hi!! I just created an account because I was wondering if my chick was a rooster or hen, he/she is very spazzy and chases me around like a little rooster. Her/hims legs are very big and it’s comb is getting red. He/she was born on January 1st and will be four weeks old next Tuesday, please if you have an idea on what gender he/she is leave a comment!! I have a feeling it’ll end up being a rooster with my luck, it’s dad is a big ol’ mean barred rock while the momma is a chill Easter Egger lol.
Thanks xoxo

To me that sounds like a rooster.... has he/she got a large wattle? With that temperament it sounds like a rooster as the hens are usually more relaxed especially at that age. Time will tell!
