Hello,
I have a Pekin Duck and she has very runny eyes. I’ve treated her for an eye infection for about a week now and I haven't seen an improvement yet. She seems to be eating and drinking fine, but I am getting worried because I don’t want her to get worse. She breathes with her mouth open a lot and lays down a lot. I have a pool she frequently gets in to clean her nose and eyes out. She doesn’t have any drainage coming from her nose, but she breathes heavy. Please help me! I posted a recent picture of her eyes so you can see how runny they are.

Sorry to hear about your duck.

What have you been using to treat her eye? Could you post a picture of the water source you're providing her with?

Could you upload a video of her breathing heavy to a video platform like Youtube or Vimeo, and copy/paste the link here?

I used Veterycyn spray at first, but my duck wouldn’t let me use that so I got Terramycin and used that. I just put it around the eyelid and I haven’t seen an improvement yet. The pool in the picture gets cleaned out and fresh water every morning and the water dishes inside their pin get cleaned out 3-4 times a day. I haven’t gotten a video of her breathing yet because she has been playing all morning so I will upload that once I can get one!
