Help! My duck has messed up legs!

I would try the figure 8 wrap just below and just above the hock. I haven’t done that before, but I was the one that read about the wrap and posted, probably from the DuckDVM site. @casportpony may eventually chime in with a suggestion. I looked online and couldn’t find any pictures.

I looked at all of the pictures and in some pictures it looks like only the right legs is affected, in others it looks like both legs.

If it's just the right, leg I suspect slipped tendon. If both legs I suspect a niacin deficiency.

Hi everyone. Little update. Haven’t found much that works well on his foot. I am in the middle of building something and today I opened their cage went inside to fill their water came back and in the 3 minutes I was inside the other duck ran away. I’ve been searching everywhere for about 30 minutes and can’t find him anywhere. I live on a 120 acre farm so he could be anywhere. He was never able to fly more than 15 to 20 feet before falling back down so I’m lost as to where he could be. Does anyone know if he will come back on his own?

Keep looking. Chances are he was scared by a predator soon after he began his jail break and he's hiding. This has happened in many cases of a missing chicken in my experience. Look in unlikely places where he could be hiding.

Another thing to try is to let the gimpy duck out and perhaps the lost duck will see or hear him and come out of hiding.
