shes in the laundry room inside our house. Her going into shock was/is what I am worried about though. @drumstick diva would you know what antibiotics I might be able to buy in case she does get an infection?

Should she try to bandage it or leave it open? I never know what to suggest on that.I remember reading someplace that nitrofurazone should not be used on wounds because it can cause delayed healing or something. For cleaning, you want to clean it with saline and chlorhexidine or saline and betadine. Then I think you could use something like Neosporin instead of nitrofurazone.
I never know what to suggest either, especially if there is a chance that it isn't clean.Should she try to bandage it or leave it open? I never know what to suggest on that.
I need to look into this more...I have seen others that have used nitrofurazone on duck wounds, but I have also seen that if you use it too much it can cause paralysis or nerve damage.
