Question was: On average, out 12 eggs layed how many are roosters? His answer was 2. Does anyone know what the actual answer is?

Apparently it was a very busy day at work. Lol!

Thanks

Have to assume it was a question akin to out of 12 eggs, how many were laid by roosters. One of those word traps to get people to give an actual number without listening closely enough to realize what they were asking, in that the only answer is 0.

If it is a question about out of 12 eggs, how many of them will be born roosters. There is no factual answer that can be repeated. 12 eggs may make 12 roosters, 0 roosters, a 50/50 split, or any combination in between. Most of us who hatch feel like they come closer to 12/12 than they should....

I had 22 eggs hatch and 19 were roosters earlier this year. Over the long haul it should be 50/50.
