Help-my pekin ducks are stuck across my frozen pond

Hi
Thats a photo of them - to far in pond to see them - the Humane Society Came and got down by them - they all are there and seem -- ok they are keeping that small area unfrozen and have some bush to hide in at night -- just major anxiety- temps are warming so it should be anyday they can swim back -
Thanks for your concern -- just say a prayer!!

I am able to see them -- but to far to show in photo ---

Flat bottomed metal boat. Scoot/paddle yourself out there and bust the ice around the ducks. Hatchet, shovel, whatever works. Been there. Done that. Wear waders if you have them. Do NOT stand on ice. Stay in boat and work from there. Cover the ducks in a blanket to keep them quiet. And don't do this alone. Take someone with you and make sure you have an audience on the bank of the pond to call for help if something happens.
