Help me my quail has the lump on his nose for quite awhile now and it looks like he is in pain when I try cleaning it with warm water

It’s the bump on his nose (I am afraid he will not be able to breathe because of the bump covering his nostril

he can breathe if he is alive, stop messing with it.

Until somebody figures out what it is, don't worry. It has another nostril and its mouth to breathe from. I wouldn't worry at all.
