my rooster is very skinny, he should be a 6.5- 7lb bird but he seems to only be in the 4.5-5 lb range. i feed it a mix of whole corn, scratch grains, meat maker, game bird food, and soy beans. He doesnt seem to to be gaining any weight.

Also for some reason his face is very puffy (around his eye and ear), and is filled with puss. i dont know why he is like this. i saw that there was some stuff that covered his nostril however i cleared that already.

And lastly for some reason there seems to be these bubbles in front of his eyes.
What could be wrong with my bird? some info would be nice.

Poor fellow. Please post pics if you can. Definitely sounds like infection needing treatment promptly. How long have you had this little guy and what is his age? Could he have sustained an injury somehow? Keep posting with more information and hopefully lots of folks will see and respond to your posts. If a visit to an avian vet is possible, I would hasten to do that.

It could also be wet fowl pox. I believe the bubbles in the eye area is an indication. My hen has it right now & I'm dealing with similar symptoms as well as others that I'm trying to figure out on here. Look up wet fowl pox. There is no cure for it, as it is a virus. I've read on here some birds get really sick, but mines been doing great. She never stopped eating. It could be because I have a FANTASTIC vet who gave her 6 days of antibiotics for secondary infection. Hope he gets better!!!!
