HELP! New duck mom and I have no idea what’s wrong!!

Yes this is it. I don’t think she is in pain but I cannot tell you that she won’t have problems it will just have to be a wait an see. Hopefully the b complex will help. She’ll have to be on it at least a week or more after symptoms stop and there is a possibility for life but it’s not like a drug so the side effects are almost nil and what her body doesn’t use she’ll pee out. I wish I could say yes this will cure her but I really don’t know just know it’s defiantly worth a try since it helps with neurological issues due to niacin deficiency.
Sorry to bother you again but if it doesn’t go away how much should I increase the dosage by as she gets older?

Here is great info on dose and niacin deficiency.https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/niacin-deficiency-in-waterfowl.1367557/
Oh also I’m not sure if you saw in my first post but is dog food okay for protein supplementation? Or do I have to get brewers yeast and stuff?

I wouldn’t add dog food at their age. My adult ducks love dog food as a treat. But I would add vitamin E soft gel 400iu soft gel to the liquid B complex it’s good for neurological problems. Prick the tip and slowly squeeze it into the littles bill. Let it swallow then continue until empty. Don’t squirt it down the throat.

It's okay to feed a duckling dog food as their main rations?

I wouldn’t think so dog food if formulated for a dogs health. Poultry feed/ duck feed is formulated for the health of poultry/ ducks. Mine get some daily as a treat they love it. Salmon an pea.

What are you feeding them? And what is the protein%
It says it is 20% protein. Even if i soak the dog food to soften it? I just have a ton of dog food that I don’t want to go to waste that’s all.

Why are you trying to add dog food for protein supplementation, the feed you posted is perfect for ducklings, and ducks of all life stages.
I was just afraid of it not being enough since the guy selling me the food at the feed store didn’t know the answer when I asked him. I just wanted to make sure that they won’t have the problems that people keep talking about. Thank you for letting me know that it’s enough though! It makes me feel less anxious about it
