Help one sick chick. And now noticed all the other healthy acting have blue/grey eyes

I'm sorry to hear you lost one.

I would just keep watch on the rest, if all are acting normal, then enjoy them. If it is Ocular form of Marek's, chicks should soon be having difficulty seeing since this form causes partial or total blindness in one or both eyes.

I'm still thinking their eye color will change as they get older, it would be interesting to know, so if you don't mind, please keep us posted.

I will. I would like to thank all who gave me advice. It has helped calm my nerves and fears. So far none of the other chicks are showing signs of illness but all 15 now have the grey/blue eyes. So I will come back and post on any changes.

There us a homeopathic remedy some people have had success using to treat marek.Hypericum (st. John wort remedy). Recipe is 1 tab per 1 tablespoon distilled water. Twice a day try to get 5-10 drop per chick. Also cranberries and garlic added to the diet. You can look it up on this site. There are several posts with more detailed info.

So it’s been a couple of days all remaining chicks seem healthy except for eye color. All 15 now have these Color eyes. And three different chicks in pics to show you. So does this confirm Mareks?? I’m just not sure for only had the one sick chicken.

Having a grey Iris in itself would not be a diagnosis of Ocular form of Marek's. You have to take symptoms into account as well - can the birds see? Do they act like they are blind/do the eyes react to light? Do they seem to have trouble eating/picking up food/scratch? Are they growing/gaining weight? Are they active and act like normal happy chicks?

If they start losing weight, go off feed, seem to be blind or have a hard time seeing, are lethargic, if the pupils shrink/become pinpoints or become misshaped, then you would want to have some testing performed.
