help! outside coop built… please see pic &read description!

where do I get metal roofing and drywall for the walls? And how do I make it waterproof?
I'm guessing you're in the US? You can find metal roofing panels and plywood at Lowes or Home Depot. They also have roofing screws for the panels that have little seals on them to keep it waterproof once you screw them into the frame. You can use the plywood for walls as a wind block and hardware cloth (you can get this on Amazon for a good price) for a type of fencing.

Try browsing this site or YouTube for ideas. There are some really great videos with step by step instructions. I built my coop and run by myself so I know it can be done but if you have a friend, even better.

You’re right we’re not in a relationship. We are single, but I own this house and he pays the bills so apparently I’m not allowed to leave the house.
I think you know this, but get out. This is a type of domestic abuse. I’m sorry.

“Domestic abuse is typically manifested as a pattern of abusive behavior toward an intimate partner in a dating or family relationship, where the abuser exerts power and control over the victim.

Domestic abuse can be mental, physical, economic or sexual in nature.”

Get yourself free and independent first, and then save the chickens if you can. And kick his sorry ass to the curb. You’re too smart and strong to put up with this crap. :hugs

well this is my house. but i can’t leave so i don’t have a job so i need someone to pay the bills. currently the old coop is way to small and falling apart. it’s been a month and some days since he said he’d finish it. i need to make sure their comfortable first. i love my pets they are first priority and then i reallyyyyy wana get a truckers license, laugh if yu must but they make sooo much money and i need a job to support me and my kids and my ESA’s (chickens).
i don’t wana drive those huge 18 wheel ones though id be terrified driving it. i’m sure i can learn, and im sure i can ask for a smaller truck first.
have people come to my house and feed/water the chickens, check on the roosting ones, etc.
hopefully i’ll get a room or two freed up so i can get a roommate who’s into the same stuff and i can trust. but trust is NOT easy to come by.
i still have security cameras all over though.

You're taking precautions, so that's good.

I don't know where you live and what the trucking options are, but I am unable to shop at my local Ingles grocery (headquartered here locally) without being blasted by ads overhead for local delivery drivers from their distribution center. So home every night and so on. Insurance, retirement, etc., although they may manipulate shifts to reduce their costs there. (This is common with grocery retail workers.) Maybe something like that would work.

Trucking can be a good career, although it's brutal in the last few decades for owner/operators with the price of diesel. Also UTI's due to infrequent stops, yikes. (That's probably less of a problem with local delivery routes.)

Good luck on the roommate upgrade! That's quite a lot of gall on the part of the current one to try to set the rules in a house he doesn't own (or rent in his name.)
