Praziquantel is also available in tablet form as in droncit for treatment of tapeworm in dogs. It is made by Bayer, so probably found in your country. Where are you located?

drontal-plus-tablets
I actually just had this prescribed for tapeworms in a one pound dog!
 It was quite expensive for a piece of a pill.

Drontal for cats can be given if Equimax or Zimectrin Gold equine wormers are not available.
Drontal is praziquantel and pyrantel pamoate. Pyrantel pamoate will take care of large roundworms, cecal worms and capillary worms.
Dosages are as follows:
1.5- to 1.9lbs chicken give 1/4 tablet orally.
2-3lbs chicken give 1/2 tablet orally.
4-8lbs chicken give 1 tablet orally.
Sorry, I dont do pounds to kilogram weight conversions and visa versa.

Depends on which dose the tablet is, it comes in three.

22.7mg, 68 mg and 136 mg

Eta: the above doses are tablets for dogs.
I am not sure how the cat pill comes. My bad.

Albendazole (Valbazen) will treat tapeworms. You must withhold the chickens feed for 24 hours, water is ok.
Dose the chicken the first thing the following morning 1cc orally and release her. Gradually give her food to eat, a little at a time 4 hours later after dosing her, and on into the afternoon. You might see tapeworm segments or strands being excreted during this time frame. Otherwise they will be digested and absorbed as protein. Dont let her free choice eat. After 24 hours of not eating, she will be starving and will gorge her food and can possibly develop impacted crop. Just give her a little at a time like I mentioned.
Wait 24 hours, then repeat this procedure every other day for a total of dosing her 3 times with the valbazen.

Hey everyone- so I went to check out the pet supplies store just now and I was given something called Panacur. It contains Fenbendazol but I'm not sure it would do any good for the tape worm.
What do you all think?

If not then the vet it will be I guess because they dont have anything else at the store for chickens.

Fenbendzole should work! :woot

Give .23 ml per pound of bird for three days in a row for tapeworms.
Then repeat one dose in 10 days.
