HELP PLEASE SUPER URGENT!!! TURKEY IS WEIRD HELP!

from what I've read here its not from being old, I had a chicken whom acted the exact same way before she died, we concluded it was marek's disease as she stoped walking got very slugish wouldn't eat or drink and was very asthmatic, granted she was 5yrs old and was actually overweight as she was the boss of the group, but her age and weight never bothered her up until then. I had a couple more after that with very similar symptoms, it can take them weeks or days to die as I've experienced. also notable marek's infected poultry tend to act very depressed and will also have bad diarrhea, plus losing movements of most limbs, its not uncommon for it to have control of its head or none at all.

after a long line of dead chickens due to this I believe the remainder chickens I have now are somewhat immune as they never contracted it. there are various different types of mareks and it can be hard to diagnose, sometimes it can even be subtle and one day you will just have a dead chicken. turkeys are very unlikely to get marek's, but they are not immune to marek's.

I highly reccommend you clean out and throughly disinfect your coop and feeder/waterer, making sure to rid (even burn) feces as its contracted through that. (also blood in feces is a sign of marek's, which my infected chickens did have blood in theres) you wont get one death and then it will stop, you have to take extra precautions to ensure your remainder flock doesn't get it, once Its contracted there is nothing you can do to help it other than make the bird comfortable.
