Help! Pullet seems to have broken foot? Can't walk! *Pics*

i guess if shes not getting picked on you could leave her with her buds.make sure shes eating and drinking.hopefully someone with some more experience can jump in and give you some better advice.keep a close eye on her...

Right now she is in my lap just chillin out . Don't know what to do with her foot I think I may put a piece of foam under it an tape her toes straight for a day or 2 but I'm not sure. When I hold her foot and straighten it out it does not seem to Hurt her.

This is so sad

she sat on my lap for about 2 hours and no poop. Or goop. Just sleeping a TON! I picked her up and set her down and she just fell. She can't use it at all really. It seemed very painful when she gets set down or if she walks. I think it's getting worse. She is in the brooder the only one that picks on any chick is the roo the other roo and pullets all get along and stick together. So I think she is fine in there. Any advice? Please help.

im so sorry you are going thru this.i wish i could give you some advice that will help.at least i can give you a bump and put you back up top.

I am in no way an expert on anything chicken but what about making her something soft for her foot? Like a really soft, foamy cushion (I'm thinking like what a couch is stuffed with) under her foot and gently taped around her foot? It just looks so painful for her to stand on. And keep her separated but then again she would probably try to eat the cushioning...

I'm just thinking out loud here....good luck with your girl.

She is getting worse, she wants to go in the brooder soo bad. But she is limping really bad and is using her wings for support. When I gave them more food all the chicks Piled on her and she kept falling in the feeder and getting her head stuck and whatever food shE does get the baby roo steals it. So I took her out gave her some more food until she was full.
Then I took her and wrapped her in a blanket and now she is on my lap. Benny like 1 hour still no poop. I'm getting worried. No clue on what to do.

well i would say if shes not pooing then maybe something other then the leg is going on.i would put her in a seperate cage so the others wont accidently hurt her.id give her some plain yogurt with boiled egg yolk for extra protien keep her as comfortable as possible, and find some way to splint that foot.keep a good eye on her and see what happens.keep her on paper towels or puppy pads so you can see if she poos and see what it looks like.

Oh My gosh I'm beginning to think its Marek's Disease she has symptoms walking drunk because one foot is wacky.... her one foot is curled... I dont know....

I'm going to put her in a seperate cage and boil her an egg. wrap her foot and see if anything improves... still no poop. she can not fly even when she was turned out with other chicks!
