Help recall on romaine lettuce

There is big recall on romaine lettuce for ecoli. This is a daily staple for my ducks and they know it. So now they are quacking/screaming at me this morning cause they don’t have it. Can ducks get ecoli like humans? Any other ideas I know I read iceberg isn’t healthy and my ducks are picky eaters.

I looked on my package of organic mix and it says baby lettuce I just bought at the grocery marked down. Sure hope it’s okay to feed since it was just romaine they stated I wouldn’t feed it to mine if it was romaine.

I would substitute peas for a while until the recall is over.

Thanks for posting this - I had no idea there was a recall. I just switched to Romaine and have a new package in fridge not yet opened - can't even put it in the compost pile - what a waste

Look more closely, I think "baby lettuce" might contain romaine, mine does.

Wash it accordingly as like 5 minutes sitting in vegetable wash then clear water

all mine says is baby lettuce it doesn't say it has romaine in it? I don't know
