Can the vet perform a fecal float on a sample of poop if you take it to him?

Cottage cheese (in a small amount) might help his loose poops. Apple (not applesauce) may help as well, but his feed should make up most of his diet. It sounds like he has had a few illnesses, and diarrhea can be a sign of many of those. Medicines can also cause it. I agree that checking for worms or coccidiosis may be helpful, but sometimes vets are hard to find for chickens.
