HELP! Sammy Davis Jr. lost his song!

No he seems fine otherwise, eating and drinking normal. This is really beginning to stress me out though, I never really gave a hoot about these birds until a dog attacked Sammy and he was in our house for a week, recently lol. Now I have to admit I'm a little fond of him and the other hens. The more I like them, the less appealing chicken is to me for dinner..and since I don't like red meat, I guess that only leaves sea food for me...I better not have a pet fish I guess, or I'll quickly become a vegetarian! So if it is these ticks, does that mean he's going to die?...and the others too? Crap! That will really piss me off! I will check in town and see fi there are any "chicken Vets" in town. I'll have my husband research a bit on virus's I guess. What a pain! Thanks for the input. If anyone else has advice please pass it along.
