Right. I have hydrated via syringe or soft aquarium tubing. The tubing I attached to the syringe, and put it about an inch down the throat to inject Epsom salt-water solution for sour crop when a bird refused to drink. A few things I like to keep in the cabinet are crop bound capsules, Enlfoxil (Baytril) injectable, Tylan 50 injectable, syringes and needles, Wormazole or Valbazen, Terramycin eye ointment, Cephalexin caps, Nutri-Drench, Vitamins-Electrolytes Plus, Corid 9.6%, and Sulfadimethoxine.Tube feeding fuids/food and oral dosing of medication are how I deal with it. A vet told me it's *usually* the dehydration that kills them, not the disease. Of course this is not always true.
All but the Valbazen are in my house. I also have lactated ringers, pedialytle, Clavamox, amoxicillian, metronidazole, praziquantil, Safeguard, Ivermectin and soooo much more, but I also have horse, cats and a dog.Right.
