Help to sex young Sussex 12 weeks

And just for everyone's update, my friend said she saw rooster-like behaviour today: running rings around each other with a neck flare warning. We do see that from bossy pullets too, though...

So both A and B seem to have rounded white areas of the feathers around the black pointed coloring of the same feather. Or are those not the correct feathers to be looking at?
Yes I agree. They do. I am not sure which feathers "count" so to speak.

Thanks. That's what I thought. By 13 weeks would we see it?
I would check underneath the poof, I would expect to see them in by 15-16 weeks for sure, here's some of new feathers that haven't formed a "true saddle" yet

Hi! Just another question as I was looking at my older rooster today. Do they first form from halfway down the back along the spine? Do they go all the way to the tail or stop before it? I think I was looking too close to the tail...
