in this specific instance do you mean kill cull or gently segregate from the main population cull?

Totally not your issue and my replies are for the OP to decide..I actually don't have a personal connection so don't care which way they decide to go..

I would most definitely cull most of those extra drakes. Whether it means kill or rehome is for the OP to decide. It’s all fun and games until those drakes start acting like total craziness due to hormones...

Best of luck finding a “forever home” for your extra drakes. I do have four drakes of my own (Welshies) and they’re adorable the way they follow one another around. I hatched them... they just happened to be all boys. If I manage to get some females next spring I’ll be in your same boat. Luckily since the boys aren’t noisy they do make very nice pets for folks who only want a few decorative ducks to cuddle or float on their pond. Advertise them on Craig’s List. Maybe you’ll get some takers.

I’ll no doubt end up sending most of mine to freezer camp, but of course that’s not for everybody.
